9月11日。7時起床。8時から、宿で朝食。ごはんがとてもおいしい。おじさん、ありがとう。ひっそり見守ってくれて。
チェックアウトして、荷物を宿に置かせてもらって、自転車でまた散策。けっこう、島の隅々までまわったかな。もう、とろとろになって。
昼くらいの船で石垣にもどって、昼は八重山そば。おいしい。石垣の街は、すごく暑い。アスファルトやコンクリが多いから。
それから黒島行きの船。また、やってきた黒島。人口200人・牛口3,000頭、畜産の島。ここの港は、とても綺麗。真っ黒で、太ってて、牛のような宿のおじさんの迎えの車で宿へ。チェックイン。いわゆる民宿。畳の部屋に布団だけ。いろんな人の汗のによいが、部屋に染みついているんだけど、それが妙に心地よい。エアコンは、100円入れないと使えないという。使わなかったけど。窓からは風が入る。
宿のチャリで、海岸へ。シュノーケリング。ここは、基本岩場だから、素足は無理。僕らは、なんとかソックスに足ひれ。ソックスは結構分厚いけど、そっと歩かないと痛かった。ここはブーツのほうが良さそうだな。
やっぱり、竹富のビーチとはまったく別世界。サンゴが、たくさん。浅くなったり深くなったり、水がきゅっと冷たくなったり、急にお湯のようになったり。魚がたくさん。大きいのもたくさん。夢中で海中散策。妻の泳ぎが、明らかにどんどん上達していく。ぶくぶくっと潜ったりもできるようになっていく。楽しそうで、僕もうれしくなる。
夕方まで泳いで、宿にもどって、シャワー浴びて、屋上で、ぼんやりする。牛や、鳥や、虫の声。この島には、クジャクがたくさんいる。初めて見たときは、信じられなかったけど、そこらじゅうにわさわさクジャクがいる。結構笑える。もちろん、もともとこの島にはいなかったけど、どっかから脱走したのが増えて、問題になっているらしい。結構高い木のてっぺんに、クジャクのつがいがとまってるしwww ちょwww 君ら、飛べるの？wwww 見てると、ばさばさばさーって、木から木に、飛び移ったりしてるしw
それから、ごはん。宿泊客のメンバーは、
建築関係の金髪のおじさん、この人は現場監督みたいな感じ？ それか建築家か？ は、黒島でなにか建設中で、この宿に滞在して、現場に通っているらしい。僕と妻の間では「建築のおじさん」と呼ぶ。寡黙な感じで、怖い印象があったけど、あ、けっこういい人だな、と、だんだん分かる。
それから、関西弁の、かわいい声の、色白の、そばかすの、かわいいコ。卓球の選手で、コスプレとかをする、なんとかっていうかわいい女のコがいるんだけど、そのコに声とか雰囲気が似ているから、僕らの中では「卓球の女のコ」。大阪から来ているらしい。気さくで、輪の中心になれるコ。明るい振る舞いのうしろには影をしょってるけど、それを癒しに来てるんだろうね。我が強いのが、世間とぶつかっちゃってるのかな？ 酒飲み。
あと、多摩市に住んでいるという、大学生の、純潔無垢って感じの、超かわいい女のコ。他の客はみんなだいぶ年上だから、なかなか輪に入れないよね。大人しく一人で食べてたけど、みんなの笑いにつられてちょっと笑ってたりして、ちゃんと話を聞いている。「大学生のコ」とする。僕らの隣の部屋。どきどき（謎
あと、僕らよりちょっと若いくらいの関西弁夫婦。練馬在住。だんなは優しそうで、でもちょっとトロいところがあって、そこがかわいいところなんだろうな。ボケ担当。奥さんは、ちょっと低い張りのあるいい声で、無邪気だけど気さくで、つっこみ担当。思ったことが自動的に口をついて出るピュアな感じが魅力的。「あの夫婦」と命名。
と、30代後半くらいの、ぽっちゃりした女の人。シャイだけど、慣れた人とは楽しく話してる。とてもしっかりしていて、聞くと、郵便局に勤めているらしい。きっちりいろいろ調べて、一番いいのを選択できる人。小笠原に皆既日食も見に行ったという、行動派。「郵便局のおばちゃん」。酒飲み。
あと、テーブルが別になったから全然接点がなかったけど、僕らと同じくらいの年の男の人、2人。
ごはんが、おいしかった。8人テーブルで、わいわい食べるから、もっとおいしく感じるんだろうな。メンバーのことをこと細かに見ているだけで、僕ら夫婦は揃って人見知りで、シャイだから、ほとんど言葉を発していない。特に僕。妻以外の人に一度も話しかけなかったし、一度も話しかけられなかった。この人なに考えてんだろう？ 悪い人には見えないけど、謎だわ。と、他の人たちは思ってただろうか。でも、みんなの会話がおもしろくて、結構ケラケラ笑ってたから、その笑うポイントとかで、みんななんとなくは察してくれたんじゃないかな。
ごはんのあと、大学生のコはさっさと自分の部屋にもどって、僕もさっさともどる。他のみんなは食卓で楽しく団らんしてた。妻もそこに残った。どんな話してたんだろうな。
僕は部屋で本読んだり、ちょっと近所をぷらっとしたりしてると、僕らの部屋の前に、ヤシガニ（でかいヤドカリ）らしきを発見。大きさは12cmくらいの、小柄なやつだけど。つかまえて、いじりまくる。これは妻に見せたいと思って、食堂に持って行って見せた。他のみんなもびっくりw さっさといなくなったと思ったら突如ヤドカリを見せびらかしにくるこの人は一体!? で、見せるだけ見せてすぐに部屋にもどっちゃうしw という反応がおもしろかった。
屋上に上がる。星が凄まじい... 星雲っていうのは、これなんだな。ひゅんひゅんと、流れ星。星が死んでいく。何十年だか何百年だか前のたくさんの光だ。遠～くのほうで雷がときどき光る。泡盛の水割りを持って、妻も屋上に上がってきて、寝っ転がって、星を見る。しやわせ。寝る。

I dont think either are sick at all. Tammy is menopausal and Ben is just aging. His sore throat is just a dry-air-in-the-winter thing.If a rapid strep test is negative he should just rest and drink lots of liquids.
