木曜の帰りに会社の人2人と飲んだ。おないどしって、気やすくて、ちょっと独特。僕が早く元気になってくれると僕らは助かる、と言ってた。嬉しい。でも「早く」かどうかはわかんないよ。焦れないから。
手首は、いまいちだなー。注射したほうの右手首も、注射したときの痛みが残ってる感じ。左は転んだときの擦り傷が痛いおー。てことで、週末はじっと家でおとなしく。
最近は、70％くらいの元気を維持するのができてるかな。
NHKの「プリズン・ドッグ～僕に生きる力をくれた犬」を観た。
「犬と暮らす刑務所」がアメリカにある。プリズン・ドッグという取り組みで、罪を犯し、心まですさんだ受刑者が、飼い主に虐待されたり、捨てられたりして動物愛護センターに連れて来られた犬と触れ合うことにより、次第に人間らしい感情を取り戻していく。オレゴン州にあるマクラーレン刑務所では、１９９３年から２０００年まで３００人の出所者のうち再犯者なし。劇的な効果を挙げているアメリカの刑務所の取り組みに迫る。
前にどっかで読んだことがあるんだよね。アメリカでは出所してからの平均再犯率が5割くらいらしい。犯罪者達が、責任持って、犬をトレーニングして新しい飼い主に託す。彼らも犬も、ちょっとずつ変わっていく。んで、彼らのもとに、新しい家庭で元気に暮らす犬達のビデオレター(?)なんかが届いて、じんわりしたりして。おもしろかったな。
