ここんとこ、おばあちゃんのお見舞いに行ってない。今は歩くリハビリをしているらしいけど、嫌々やってるんだそうな。認知もすすんで、怒ったり、大きな声を出したり、平気でおむつにおしっこしたり、、おかんもおばちゃんも辛そうだ。
僕は、傍から見ていて、もう、おばあちゃんは終わっていると思う。もうわけわかんなくなっちゃてる。そのおばあちゃんのケアをしている娘達は、命を削られるばかり。僕は、そのことのほうが良くないと思う。元気なうちに、娘達にあちこち連れて行ってもらったり、わがまま言って好きなように猫ときままに楽しくやってたおばあちゃん。充分豊かな人生を送った。
まだまともに動けてまともに考えられる娘達のこれからの時間のほうが、大切。娘達には、そのことのほうを大事にして欲しいとおもう。
猫のメメは、ほとんどごはんを食べなくなっているらしく、ますますガリガリだそうだ。食べるときに、変な歯ぎしりみたいな音が聞こえるらしい。もしかして、歯が悪くなって、食べたくても食べられないようになっているんでは？ すっごい口が臭いらしいし。てことで、固形物じゃないもので栄養をとらせることを試みているところ。牛乳はよく飲んでくれたらしい。エサのだし汁は飲んでくれなかったとか。まだいろいろ工夫のしようがありそうだ。
病院に連れてって歯を診てもらって、治療してもらうのは、あの猫には大きなストレスになるのは目に見えてる。あんなに弱ってるメメに、そんなストレスをかけたくない。しばらくは病院は保留。いずれにしても、メメは明らかに死に向かっているように見える。

There is indeed an ongoing debate in the design/typography communities about whether or not serif fonts are easier to read. The theory is that the serifs lead the eye into the next letter and thus make the words flow and read nicely. But on screen they tend to clutter rather than lead. So general consensus is serif for print, san serif for web, although you will always find detractors.
